Musina Branch Strengthens Community Engagement Through RCCE Activities
The South African Red Cross Society (SARCS) Musina Branch volunteers, together with Nutrition students, conducted Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) activities within the community. The team engaged directly with community members, sharing important information on relevant health and humanitarian issues.
Through awareness and educational sessions, the team promoted positive health and safety practices, encouraged informed decision-making, and strengthened community participation. The activities also created a valuable platform for community members to ask questions, receive guidance, and access accurate information about available support and services.
By working closely with communities and partners, SARCS continues to promote knowledge, participation, and resilience, ensuring that communities are empowered with the information they need to make informed decisions about their health and wellbeing.
