🤝 Strengthening Communities Through Partnership in Times of Crisis
Today, the South African Red Cross Society – ( Kgetsa Nare-coordinating and facilitating) -Mpumalanga Province distributed 220 food parcels and hygiene packs to families affected by the recent floods, providing critical relief and restoring dignity to those hardest hit by the disaster.
This life-saving intervention was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Old Mutual, whose continued commitment to supporting vulnerable communities during emergencies truly makes a difference.
The distribution was led by the MEC for Social Development together with the MMC of the City of Mbombela, demonstrating strong leadership and collaboration between government, the private sector, and humanitarian partners in responding to disaster impacts.
