SARCS &Mpumalanga Leadership Assesses Flood Impact in Mjejane

Mpumalanga Premier Mandla Ndlovu, accompanied by several Members of the Executive Council (MECs), has arrived in Mjejane to assess the impact of damage caused by persistent rainfall across the province. The delegation will be joined by President Cyril Ramaphosa, who is in Mpumalanga to engage directly with affected communities and evaluate the extent of the disaster.

The South African Red Cross Society (SARCS) was part of the delegation visiting affected households and communities, providing humanitarian support and conducting assessments to inform ongoing relief efforts. As the auxiliary to the government in humanitarian services, SARCS continues to stand alongside communities during this difficult time, ensuring that the most vulnerable receive support, dignity, and care.
