KwaZulu-Natal,,Limpopo and Mpumalanga have been heavily affected by severe flooding, following persistent and disruptive rainfall. Communities are facing displacement, loss of belongings, damaged homes, and disrupted access to basic services.

The South African Red Cross Society is actively monitoring the situation and preparing to respond. However, the scale of the impact requires collective action.

Mpumalanga’s Lowveld, including Nkomazi, Bushbuckridge, and the City of Mbombela, remains under a Red Level 10 warning for disruptive rainfall.
