Peer Educators Training | Flavius Mareka TVET College

The South African Red Cross Society, Fezile Dabi Kroonstad Branch, proudly participated as one of the facilitators during the Peer Educators Training organised by Higher Health for students at Flavius Mareka TVET College (Mphohadi Campus) on 5 February 2026.

The Red Cross was represented by Nomsa Dlamini, under the leadership and guidance of Mambone Agnes, who facilitated an engaging session on Substance Abuse. The session focused on the effects of substance use, prevention strategies, and the importance of making informed and responsible life choices.

The training was highly interactive and well received by students. Overall, the programme strengthened peer education capacity and contributed positively to student wellbeing on campus.

We remain committed to empowering young people with knowledge and skills that promote healthy lifestyles and informed decision-making.
