Disaster Response Update | Tshakhuma Village

The South African Red Cross Society (SARCS) Musina Branch volunteers are currently on the ground in Tshakhuma Village, where the situation remains challenging and dire.

Our dedicated volunteers are actively assessing the needs of affected households while providing psychosocial support (PSS) to beneficiaries. Through compassionate listening and emotional care, they are helping individuals and families cope with the trauma and stress caused by the situation.

SARCS remains committed to standing with the community during this difficult time and will continue to respond with dignity, care, and humanity as assessments and support efforts continue.
