FLOODS & SEVERE WEATHER
The South African government has officially classified widespread flooding and severe weather across five provinces as a National Disaster. This follows devastating, ongoing rainfall, strong winds, and lightning since late November 2025, which affected Limpopo, Mpumalanga, KwaZulu-Natal, the Eastern Cape, and the North West.
