nnMany homes had been swallowed by raging floods, with ober 400 people forced to evacuate in Port St Johns in the Eastern Cape, who now seek refuge in community halls and churches.nn

nnIn KwaZulu Natal, over 1500 persons forced to flee from mud slides and heavy rain.nn

nnWe are appealing for in kind donations and funding to assist around 500 persons with Hygiene kits, warm clothing, non perishable foods, blankets, mattresses, tents, household items, baby packs and clean water.nn
