The 2018 16 Days of Activism campaign was launched on 25 November under the theme: End Gender Based Violence in the World of Work. The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence against Women and Children campaign will take place on 07 December 2018 at the Mogalakwena Football for Hope Centre in Mokopane.nnThe South African Red Cross Society in collaboration with Mogalakwena Football for Hope Centre will convene a dialogue on violence against women, children and LGBTIQ+ to focus on the problems, discuss the causes and to find appropriate solutions. Through the dialogue session, the Mogalakwena Football for Hope Centre will interact with community members, school children and LGBTIQ+ who experience violence and abuse.nnThe importance of the 16 Days Campaign is not viewed as a stand-alone event, it will be hosted together with the Local Soccer Tournament which aims to mobilize members of the society, especially men to join hands with SARCS and Mogalakwena Football for Hope in the fight to curb violence against women, children and end discrimination of LGBTIQ+,nn#LeaveNoOneBehind , #EndGenderBasedViolanceInTheWorldOfWork
