The Knysna Red Cross branch has set up an accident scene Doctor depicting what paramedics do. Fire, rescue services and traffic were included to make the scene as real as possible. Police and Red Cross workers took the town by storm with this make belief scene. The rescue services used jaws of life to rescue the casualties from the vehicle. This was in aid of World Red Cross Day to educate the public on first aid and what it is to be a first responder.
