Red Cross respond to incidents that led to community members being displaced after 250 shacks got burnt in Kwa Max informal Settlement. Volunteers in the area were immediately deployed and assessments were conducted its resources using networked procedures, coordinated by local municipality. Hot meals, blankets, clothes, and hygiene packs were donated to 46 members who were evacuated to the community hall.
