The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the grandest intention

The greatest legacy one can pass on to one’s children and grandchildren is not money or other material things accumulated in one’s life, but rather a legacy of character and faith. Legacy is not what I did for myself. It’s what I’m doing for the next generation. No matter what happens in life, be good to people.

Nashley Debeer has been the Red Cross volunteered for over 11 years before joining the staff compliment. she was a First Aider within the Voluntary Aid Corp structure and the Central Metropolitan Branch Secretary. In 2007, Bokamoso became the Voluntary Aid Corp Administrator in the Western Cape Provincial Office – “I have learnt a lot over the years, staff member for 12 years now in different positions”. Currently employed as the Logistics Officer within the Disaster Management Department. “Volunteering and being a staff member has really developed my skills and shaped my life personally.” She concluded. Good 23 years of memories and still going strong.
